Bonne Bell Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers

What could be better than Dr. Pepper flavored lip balm? If you are a fan of Dr. Pepper in general, then there is every reason to expect that you will also enjoy Bonne Bell's Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker. Really, it's a wonderful thing. If there doesn't happen to be a soda machine nearby, this will give you all the flavor you need minus the sugar, the chemicals, and the caffeine.

If you don't love Dr. Pepper, the good news is that Bonne Bell makes a Lip Smacker in other flavor's you will love. Lip Smackers are available in a wide variety of fruit and ice cream flavors, as well as your favorite sodas (our second favorite flavor is Cherry 7up!). What's great about the Dr. Pepper flavor is the smell. The flavor is definitely secondary to the pleasantly sweet scent. With many of the fruit flavors, you'll find that the smell is actually that of a fabricated flavor. Instead of cherry, it smells like artificial cherry flavor. Yick. This really isn't true for the Dr. Pepper flavor. We imagine that this is primarily because Dr. Pepper itself is an artificial flavor (prune juice is not an ingredient listed on the can). But, for whatever reason, the scent is very pleasing.

As far as effective lip moisturizing, this will depend on your context. Indoors, this is a wonderful product for a bit of moisture, and a little extra will even give a nice shine to your lips. However, if you plan to be in the sun, this product can be very dangerous. The oil-based Lip Smacker will serve to enhance the sun's dangerous UV rays, and could result in sunburn on your lips. Ouch! Luckily, Bonne Bell does make Lip Smackers with SPF. Unfortunately, they don't come in Dr. Pepper. So, you'll have to decide which is more important.
